Bakers Developments is a small independent business with many years of experience in both home and garden renovations, starting out as a one man band to now a fully skilled team. Working in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire we have always prided ourselves in the both quality of service and the end product. All materials are locally sourced where possible and small businesses like ours taken into consideration without any compromise on quality.
Over the years we have harnessed skills across several trades to allow the team to carry out any work to a high standard and effortlessly keeping the quality. We also work alongside several other trades in planning to allow a streamline service from paper to final product. Having worked on both large and small estates as well as commercial contracts, no work is too big or small and the customer is always guaranteed to be satisfied.
We offer the most cost effective work possible to fit our customer's needs as well as ensuring the majority of work will is completed with a job price, start and finish time. This means there is no ugly surprises at the end of any of our work as there is full transparency from the day pen is put to paper.
Our Process
We are aware that not everyone knows exactly what they want but have ideas and just need direction so from initial contact, our aim is to be straight forward. From the enquiry we aim to obtain enough information to allow us to make an informed decision as to how we proceed.
Once we start the consultation process, we will create a mood board with ideas and rough price work where works are not certain. On larger scale work we will normally work alongside a designer so renders can be made to make the work as realistic as we know this helps with vision. From the mood board or drawings being confirmed with exact measurements and requirements we move onto booking the work in with times that meet both the customer and ourselves. There is a full breakdown off payments expected as well as works completed as payments are made so a customer is never out of pocket and/or not sure of what's happening. The final payment is made once the work is completed to the customers expectations with all snags if any ticked off.
Preconstruction Design
We come out to any job fully equipped with measuring tools and a drone for outdoor work to give the most precise measurements.
Design & Construction Estimate
All customers get the option of using renders and CAD to allow a better Vision of the work that will be carried out. This an optional external extra that can be opted out of.
On-Site Consultations
Once we have a clear plan we will revisit and go through the exact plans and scheduling. This visit will normally include materials of choice in the way of samples so a customer can feel everything.
The Finishing
Touches
Once we have worked through all designs and needs we will give choices for the final bits. This normal includes grout, render colour and final fittings. This is the personal touch that we leave to your creative tastes to make the space yours.
